On the day after Thanksgiving every year, they have a running race called the Turkey Trot. It snowed a couple of inches the night before, and the day was beautiful. We all love snow, and everyone was pumped up and ready to run. Well, the safety dept & recreation decided to cancel the race. Well, that was no good for the runners, and so we all ran it anyway. ...there was no time keeper, or gatorade at the finishline, oh and the Ambulance standby was cancled (even though it was more slippery out.... hmmm.... don't you love beaurocracy?). We had a great time running the race.
