This was a fun event... These Delta's dropped
us off at Cape Evans (16 miles from McMurdo) and we got to ski back.
One Delta went back right away, and the other drove back real slow and
picked up stragglers. I made it about 1/2 way back and it was a great
skate ski. In this photo you can see Razor Back island on the left...
and if you follow the land line over, you can see the tip of the peninsula
where McMurdo is, on the right side of the photo.
