On November 20th I got Hut 10 for the night.
And it was a Saturday night. Hut 10 is an actual house, where the top
Navy officer lived when McMudo was still a Navy Base. These days you
can rent it out for a night. I was so excited because just in time for
my party a bunch of freshies (fresh produce) showed up in town (Thanksgiving
was a week away) AND I was able to get my hands on a bunch of freshies.
This year was a tough year for getting food for personal use. I was lucky!!
The bowl of guacamole didn't last very long - but it sure was good. Here's
James (my boyfriend) and Stan (my roomate) helping me get ready for the
party.... Mmm - look at those fresh herbs, red bell pepper & guacamole
