I was "Red Death" for Halloween this year.
It was fun. I couldn't drink through the mask, and so I rigged up a hose
that came out of my fingertip (basically like a camel-back, but all I
had to do was stick my finger in my drink). I made it to the final judging
round again, but still didn't win. A few days later the Supply Dept had
a Halloween Dept, and I did win that prize. It was a day off work, which
I saved until I really needed it when I was tired at the end of the season,
and took my birthday off.
